Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Alfredo Iglesias is responsible for Sales, Channels and Marketing for Veryant on a worldwide basis. For the past 14 years, Alfredo has worked within the COBOL community on a business and technical level. He has also gained an extensive background in legacy modernization and SOA integration.
Alfredo comes to Veryant after successfully driving mainframe rehosting and modernization programs for Clerity Solutions, Inc. for all of Latin America and parts of the United States. Prior to this, Alfredo spent 5 years at Acucorp, where he worked as a Pre-sales Systems Engineer, Partner Development Manager, Business Consultant Manager and finally as the Business Development Manager for Latin America.
Alfredo resides in Miami, Florida and holds a MSE degree in Nuclear Chemistry from the Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology.
Dovid Lubin
Vice President of Technical Operations
As Vice President of Technical Operations, Dovid Lubin is in charge of Product Development and Technical Services for Veryant. Dovid provides direction and leadership for the development of the isCOBOL Application Platform Suite (isCOBOL APS). He oversees pre and post sales support, as well as transition services. In addition to these responsibilities, Dovid maintains a customer-first focus by aligning Veryant's product development efforts with all other areas of the company including Sales, Marketing and Support.
Dovid resides in Los Angeles, California and graduated from UCSD with bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. He worked for Acucorp, Inc from 1992-2000 where he as a served as project lead and senior developer for ACUCOBOL-GT®. From 2000-2002 Dovid worked for SeeBeyond Technologies Corporation where he designed and developed a Java Message Service (JMS) for e*Gate, a suite of tools for enterprise application integration and business process management. In 2002 Dovid returned to Acucorp where he last served as Vice President of Product Development, responsible for the Development, Quality Assurance and Communications departments. Dovid was the senior architect for several of Acucorp's products and features such as AcuConnect® Thin Client and AcuWebServices.
Marco Bertacca
Chief Scientist
As Chief Scientist, Marco Bertacca provides product vision and development leadership for Veryant. Marco has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and he initially conceived and developed the original isCOBOL project.
Marco's interests include COBOL, Java and Linux technologies and has published four books on these topics with McGraw-Hill. Marco attended Pisa University and he currently resides in Viareggio, Italy where he enjoys playing jazz tenor saxophone in addition to pursuing his other interests.

President, Veryant's Italian Offices
As President of Veryant's Italian offices, Massimo Bertoli provides leadership for Veryant's European operations and plays an active role in managing the quality assurance and release engineering for the isCOBOL Application Platform Suite. Massimo was president and founder of Veryant Italia and has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry.
Massimo worked for Acucorp Italia for 10 years prior to joining Veryant. He currently resides Piacenza, Italy and attended the University of Milano where he obtained a degree in IT.
