The "Compatible with Windows 7" logo means Veryant's isCOBOL Runtime Environment and isCOBOL Integrated Development Environment (IDE) software have met Microsoft's testing requirements for compatibility with 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7, passing tests Microsoft designed with regards to installation, performance, reliability, and security. Compatible with Windows 7 products give users added assurance that products will install and run reliably with Windows 7.

Under Veryant's ‘buy once, run anywhere’ approach, there is no penalty or additional fee for changing platforms, so existing customers can immediately incorporate Windows 7-based systems into COBOL application development and distribution plans.
