The isCOBOL IDE editor has new features to help navigate large programs with many copybooks, such as name hyperlinking, as well as a new program Properties window which shows the list of used copy files, called programs and invoked classes.

The Grid control is now empowered with automatic search and filter functions, which allows end users to search the grid for relevant text, and filter rows based on filters defined on columns.

Screen sections are now dynamic, allowing content to be added and removed at runtime. Entire screens or single controls can be displayed inside other screens.

Framework improvements include a new modeless print preview window, which allows multiple previews to be displayed simultaneously. Auditing allows developers to add I/O logging to applications without writing code.

The compiler has new options and syntax to better support COBOL applications that use DBCS(Double Byte Character Strings), such as Japanese, Chinese and Korean, without Unicode encoding.

The isCOBOL Debugger has received several upgrades, to allow better debugging of large projects, and projects where COBOL is not the only language.
