Donatos Pizzeria (Donatos) operates approximately 200 restaurants across six states in the United States.
Business Drivers: Donatos’ COBOL-based PoS (point of sale) solution was becoming dated and expensive. The company was getting ready to do some significant growth and wanted to add new functionality to the system without increasing costs.
Solution: isCOBOL enabled Donatos to deploy POS terminals that can display legacy applications in conjunction with an updated GUI. In addition, isCOBOL provided Donatos' programmers with the same GUI regardless of operating system.
