Question Title Is the FairCom activation an end-user requirement? How can we automate it?
Question:

I don't want every one of my end-users to have to activate the FairCom license. I prefer to hide the underlying technology from the end-user. Is there a way to write a script that will automate this? Or can I send out an activated license file? Is there any way around requiring my end-users to have to deal with the FairCom activation?

Answer:

Run the activation program “fcactvat” at the command line, accepting the activation key and serial number as parameters.

Usage:
     $ fcactvat activation_key serial_number executable_to_activate
For example:
       fcactvat.exe PPZHK.IOLGQ.OXHKX-QKGQC.LIWDV.KHROW 990327 ctsrvr.exe
